Today we arrived in Hamburg. This is definitely a more modern town than Munich as far as Germany goes. We went and checked out a gorgeous restaurant La Vela right on the riverfront. Delicious food, mediocre service by US standards. They do move a little slower here and that is due to the fact that we are culturally different in that way. After dinner, we skedaddled on over to the miniature museum which shows scaled down models of Germany, as well as Switzerland among other areas. My first night in Hamburg has been delightful, the only thing missing would be a really good music show filled with slammin’ guitar riffs and rockabilly style.
